Downtown and Esther Short. The city describes Esther Short as Vancouver's commercial, cultural, financial and municipal center. Its park, dedicated in 1855, is the oldest public square in the Pacific Northwest. • Restricted keyways limit who can copy a key.

A business leaving a leased space should check the lease, since some landlords require the locks to be returned to the building's key system at move-out.
