How Annapolis weather works on locks

Simple upkeep

1. After water reaches a door, wipe the key, let the lock dry and use a dry lubricant such as graphite.

3. Tighten loose hinge and trim screws before a sagging door pulls the latch out of line.
4. Replace a badly worn key before it snaps in the lock and calls for broken key extraction.
