After an event at the Kia Center

For Kia Center events, the city offers pre-paid spaces in the ThreatLocker Garage, which connects to the arena, and reservations at other city-managed garages. Event parking runs until 5:29 a.m. the next day, and a vehicle left past that time is subject to additional parking fees. A car locked with the keys inside after a late show has a clock running, so put the garage name and the time the event let out at the top of your request.

Inside a garage, give the level, the space number or nearest column marking, and the entrance you used. Say whether the driver's door sits close to a wall or pillar. If you parked in one of the other city-managed garages, name that garage, not just the arena.

Heat inside a locked car

A closed car parked in the Orlando sun gets far hotter inside than the air outside, and the risk is highest for young children and pets.

If a child, a pet or anyone who cannot get out is inside, call 911 now. Do not wait for a locksmith. If the engine is running with the keys inside, say so in the request.

Street parking and other places

• In a Main Streets district such as Mills 50, Ivanhoe Village or the Milk District, give the street, the nearest cross street and a business you are parked near.
• In a private lot or an apartment garage, give the name on the sign and how to get past any gate.
• Give the make, model, color and plate, and where the keys are: on a seat, in the ignition, in the trunk or unknown.
• Have photo ID ready and, if the registration is not locked in the car, that as well.
