How New Mexico's climate treats a fob

The Western Regional Climate Center describes an arid or semiarid climate for New Mexico, with spring as the windy season and most summer moisture coming in brief, often intense thunderstorms. A fob rides through all of it in a pocket, a cup holder or on a dashboard:
