• Victorian Square and B Street. Downtown's B Street was revitalized from the early 1980s, a project that culminated in 1996 with a plaza and a multi-screen movie complex. For a storefront here, say whether the door is glass in a metal frame or solid, and whether it has a push bar on the inside.
• The rail corridor. South of Interstate 80, the Union Pacific rail yard lies next to the Nugget towers, and the Nugget's 1984 tower was the city's first high-rise casino. The land south of the railroad began filling with warehouses and light industry in the 1970s, so a request there may involve an office door, a steel side door or a gate rather than storefront glass.
