How the building shapes a Detroit lockout

In Corktown, south of Michigan Avenue and west of the Lodge Freeway, the housing includes rowhouses and one- and two-story Victorian townhouses. In a row of attached houses, the front door and any rear door may be the only ways in, so say which one you normally use and whether both are locked.

East English Village runs from small bungalows to large older homes, with a small number of two-family houses. A two-family house can have a shared outer door as well as a door for each unit, and being locked out of the upper unit is a different job from being locked out at the street.
